I truly hate to put this upon you, but for the time being, I can no longer effectively lead the project. Someone has my phylactery and the results have been escalating.

I'm also sorry for the state of the office. As you might guess from there smell of charred everything, a fireball exploded within. The fire is out, but I didn't dare linger for fear of it happening again.

[There's a pause here as he takes in the magnitude of what's just said. Her relative calm makes it all faintly surreal.]

I am. And I've not been suffering anything the others have. Is there-- D'you need me to take over the project while you sort this out?

I do. Given that many are recovering from the recent sickness and now some are as myself, I don't expect the project to cover much ground for a while. But if there are surveys, questions...I would appreciate what you can do for them.
